Each project is a window into the soul of a client. We interpret our client’s tastes, needs and inspirations; using our design prowess to make their spaces a true reflection of them. The images we share are not an exhaustive demonstration of our talents, but more truly a showing of our current favourites.
Working across the full spectrum of residential projects, there is really nothing we don’t do. Our past, present and future residential projects include renovations, extensions, new home builds and multi-residential developments through to adding the icing on the cake to any project with decorative selections and styling.
The design brief always guides our thought processes. It provides both the initial inspiration for the project and allows us to regularly “check-in” throughout the design process to ensure that our concept remains consistent with the client needs. Initial mood boards and material concepts for this Islamic school project stem from considerations unique to the client; including branding colours, school vision and mission statement, religious heritage and an aesthetic tie to the existing buildings.
With a direction in mind, documentation was developed to convey the essence of the proposal whilst still giving it ‘room to move’. This part of the process first involved breaking the project into specific areas, identifying how the area was to be used and what specific needs and considerations were to be given. Once this was complete, the colour palette was developed, finishes were selected that were fit for purpose and the material placement was planned before presenting to the client for approval.
Success! The client was onboard with the concept so it was time to further refine the design and move to the high level of specification of materials and finishes that we are renowned for. As we finalise the documentation, each space is considered individually to be certain it is highly functional and visually appealing.
To assist with visualisation, 3D renders were produced. Whilst they help us communicate the design intent to the client and eventually to trades, these are particularly helpful when a client has to present the client to a committee or board for wider approval.
