A beautiful Tudor home near one of Adelaide’s premier beaches, Project Bonnie underwent a major renovation and extension. The clients provided an interesting mix of briefs, with an Airbnb to the front existing part of the home plus an extension including a second storey master suite for the clients as their private residence. Unusually there was a further very specific brief; the need for selection of materials and finishes with consideration to life impacting allergies.
The clients themselves have an amazing eye for design and were open minded and keen for a bit of colour and quirk to the property. We combined this with substantial quantities of natural stone for their flooring, wet area walls and benchtops throughout to meet the health brief. The composition of materials were carefully selected throughout avoiding plastic and any products containing formaldehyde, PVC, phenols or melamine. Even the balcony balustrade and stair tread inserts were made sure to be nickel free!
The end result is a one of a kind property that we’re proud and thankful to be involved with.
