Completed from start to finish without a single in-person meeting, Project Amelia was an interesting remote design project with a few unique challenges. The client lives in Melbourne but purchased an Adelaide home from which to base himself during regular family visits. The scope of works included overseeing various aspects of renovation and repair works plus developing a decorative scheme that merged together new furniture pieces with the client’s personal collection of artworks. The result is a space in which the client feels at home when he stays, and equally, holidaymakers feel at ease when taking a short holiday break.
